MOT Visits Aden Container Terminal,,,

16 January 2018 – H.E. The Minister of Transport has visited Aden Container Terminal, and he was welcomed by the APDC Chairman Mr. Mohammed Alawi Emzarbah, ACT General Manager Mr. Aref Al-Shabi, ACT Deputy General Manager Mr. Fadhle Al-Hugaili, and number of departments and sections heads.

H.E. MOT has toured in Aden Container Terminal and listened to a detailed explanation from the Chairman about the container Terminal activities and APDC performance of moderating the terminal equipments the last of these new equipment was the arrival of 12 tractors, so as to meet the steady increase of containers volume imported through the Port of Aden.

H.E. MOT has went onboard of the alongside ship that was at ACT berth MV MERCURY accompanied with Chairman and the APDC Management, and they have met the ship Captain and listened to the Ship’s Captain comments related to the services provided in the Port of Aden, The Ship Captain has appreciated H.E. MOT visit accompany with the terminal Management and he has valued the services provided to the ship and appreciated the Harbor Master who are the first party the ship met while entering the Port facilities. The Ship Captain has expressed his satisfaction against the provided services.

 

At the end of the visit, H.E. MOT has valued the role that the Port of Aden is playing represented by the Port Management, employees and workers whom did not hesitate unless to be the example of the outstanding performance, H.E. has promised to pay the utmost cooperation and support to the Port of Aden, the main Seaport and Republic of Yemen Gateway to the world.
