National Bank of Yemen Expands Its Services in The Port of Aden ,,,


12 October 2017 - the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Yemen (NBY) Dr. Mohamed Hussein Halaboub has visited Aden Container Terminal (ACT) where he has met Mr. Mohamed Alawi Amzrabeh, the Chief Executive of the port of Aden, the Chairman of Aden Ports Development Company, accompany with Mr. Fadhel al-Hajili Deputy General Manager of Aden Container Terminal. Dr. Haboub has updated the Port Management on the current activities and roles of the NBY Office in ACT, However Dr. Halboub has revealed the Bank plans for developing its activities and services in the Port of Aden, towards the strengthening the mutual cooperation and partnership between the National Bank of Yemen and the Port of Aden and the positive impact of such development for the enhancement of the commercial and financial activities in the Port of Aden.

 

The attendees have also discussed the expansion of the activities through the opening of bank Branch rather than Office within the Container Terminal, and new Office in Malla wharfs and the diversification of the Bank's multiple services in response to the significant increase in the Port business and activities, in addition to the faciliting of easy and smooth money transactions for the sake of the Port users and customers of the local trader and shipping lines.

 

Mr. Emzarbah has praised the role of the National Bank of Yemen as a real partner to the port of Aden, however appreciated the banking facilities given to the Port customers, Mr. Emzarbah has confirm his support and cooperation with NBY for their expansion plans in the Port of Aden, whereas, it will be favorably reflected in facilitating the financial and banking process in the port of Aden.
